Ensuring Everyone's Visit is a Great One
We strive to make sure the wonder and the wild in our zoo is accessible and welcoming to all of our guests!
Zoo Accesibility
- Zoo Pathways: The main and most Zoo pathways are paved, allowing easier mobility for strollers and wheelchairs. There are a few paths that are not paved that lead to the San Clemente Island Goat habitat, Event Field, and paths for different views of the Mini Horse and Outback Habitats.
- Rides: Our Train and Carousel rides at the zoo are both ADA Accesible!
- Mobility Aids: We have wagons, wheelchairs, and electronic convenience vehicles (Amigos), available to rent at the Zoo on a first come, first serve basis. Learn more.
- Service Animals: Service Dogs and Miniature Horses are allowed in the Zoo. Emotional support animals are not permitted entry to the Zoo.
- Bathrooms & Nursing Spaces: We have accessible bathrooms, and nursing/quiet spaces. There are 2 accessible bathrooms, and 2 quiet/nursing spaces. 1 of each near the Zoo Store, and 1 of each near the Concessions building.
