International Vulture Awareness Day

Join us in celebrating how amazing vultures are in honor of International Vulture Awareness Day! This event includes educational, hands-on activities for kids of all ages, and our adult book club meeting!
We will be reading “Condor: to the Brink and Back – the Life and Times of One Giant Bird” by John Nielsen. Book discussion will take place at the Zoo, in the event tent, Saturday, September 3rd between 12-1:00 PM. Conversation will be led by our veterinarian Dr. Shannon Cerveny. Pizza will be provided. General Zoo entry is $5 per person. Zoo entry is free for zoo members.
