Future Zookeeper
*Ages: 5-7 years
When: 9 a.m.–3 p.m., Thursday and Friday, July 21st & 22nd; Monday and Tuesday, August 1st and 2nd The August section if FULL, but there is still room in the July 21st and 22nd section.
Activities/Theme: Zookeepers wanted! In this exclusive 2-day camp, meet Zookeepers to learn the skills needed to care for animals. Campers will get a chance to practice some of what they learn! August 1st and 2nd are FULL. Sign up for July 21st and 22nd while there is still room!
Reptile Rendezvous
*Ages: 5-7 years
When: 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Thursday, July 14th
Activities/Theme: Slither on in for an opportunity to learn all about snakes, turtles, tortoises and more. This 1-day camp features animals from around the world, and campers will meet some slithery friends! Learn where they are from, what they like to eat and what makes each one special.
Habitat Sweet Habitat
*Ages: 5-7 years
When: 9 a.m.–3 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, June 28th & 29th; Thursday and Friday, July 28th and 29th
Activities/Theme: Track wild animals from all over the world right here in Saginaw! In this 2-day adventure, learn all about animal habits and habitats, and how the Zoo makes our animals feel at home.
Feathery Friends
*Ages: 5-7 years
When: 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday, July 11th
Activities/Theme: Bird is the word for this 1-day camp with our feathered friends - and we do have a variety! Learn what makes a bird a bird, and discover their fascinating differences.
Butterflies
*Ages: 5-7 years
When: 9a.m.-3p.m., Monday, June 27th
Activities/Theme: It's all about Butterflies in this 1-day camp. Learn about the amazing journey from a creepy, crawly caterpillar to the magnificent butterfly. Campers, come get an up-close and personal look at one of nature's important pollinators.
Then-Now, Here-There - THIS CAMP IS FULL
*Ages: 6-9 years
When: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday, July 11-15
Monday, Thursday, and Friday camp will be held at Mid Michigan Children's Museum Tuesday and Wednesday camp will be at the Children's Zoo - Camp filled, we can no longer accept registrations.
Junior Zookeeper
*Ages: 8-10 years
When: 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Wednesday - Friday, July 6th-8th, Monday - Wednesday, July 25th-27th
Activities/Theme: Zookeepers wanted! Take Future Zookeeper to the next level and learn about all the jobs at the Zoo including the exciting job of a Zookeeper. Campers will get a chance to practice some of what they learn in this 3-day camp!
Feathery Friends II
*Ages: 8-10 years

Zoo Animal Health & Habitat
*Ages: 11-14 years
When: 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday - Wednesday, July 18th-20th
Activities/Theme: Future Veterinarians get your start here! Learn all about the Children's Zoo's approach to animal health and well-being in this fun and educational 3-day camp. Campers will even get a chance to meet with our Zoo veterinary staff.
