DEAR at the Zoo - Wednesday June 19th 10 am - 3 pm. Drop Everything and Read for the 12th annual literacy event sponsored by the READ Association of Saginaw County and local businesses and organizations. Fun for all with a free book for every child and animal themed booth activities, author visits, story telling and amphitheater programs. Regular Zoo admission, Zoo members free.
World Oceans Day Saturday, June 8, 2013. 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Visit the zoo for fun activities and giveaways all about ocean conservation. Regular Admission, Members FREE!
Pancakes with Penguins - Wednesday, August 14th, 2013 Loosen your belt and get ready for our all-you-can-eat pancake, egg, and sausage dinner! Learn what food your favorite animals love to eat, and you guessed it, meet a penguin! Ticket price includes Zoo admission, dinner, train and carousel rides.
