We are located on the corner of M-46 and M-13.


Directions to the Zoo

From the north:  Take I-675 to Exit 2.  Turn right on Jefferson St.  Turn right on Johnson St.  Turn left on Washington Ave. (M-13).  Zoo is approximately 2 miles away.

From the south:  Take I-675 to Exit 2.  Exit ramp becomes Wadsworth St.  Continue on Wadsworth to Washington Ave. (M-13).  Turn left on Washington.  Zoo is approximately 2 miles away.

From the east:  Take M-81 to M-13 south. Proceed approximately 3 miles. Turn left into the Zoo parking lot.

From the west: Take M-46 into Saginaw. Follow M-46 to S. Michigan Avenue. Turn left onto S. Michigan. Proceed less than one half mile to Court Street. Turn right on Court Street. Follow Court Street across the Saginaw River. Proceed through the next light into the Zoo parking lot.

Admission Rates

April 22rd - October 7th:  $5

Price above is per person for adults and children age 1 and up.

Infants 11 months and under:  FREE
Children's Zoo Members:  FREE


Thrifty Tuesday:  $3.50 per person (valid for general admission)


Military Price: $3.50 admission per person.

In support of our troops, the Zoo is proud to offer Active Duty military and veterans, and their immediate family/direct dependents a special price on admission (with valid military ID)*.

*Veterans must present a valid drivers license issued I.D. indicating “veteran” status. Veteran must be present with dependents for them to receive the discount.

Memberships cover admission and rides for one full year!  



Most of the pathways are paved, allowing easier mobility.
A limited number of wheelchairs are available on a first come, first served basis with a $10 deposit.

Electronic Convenience Vehicles (Amigos) are available to rent:
$25 Refundable Deposit
$6 for the 1st Hour
$1 per additional 1/2 Hour.

Train or Carousel:  $1 per person, per ride or $5 per person for an unlimited day pass.
