D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read) 
Wednesday, June 19
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The 12th annual literacy event sponsored by the READ Association of Saginaw County and local businesses and organizations. Fun for all with a free book for every child, animal themed booth activities, author visits, storytelling, and amphitheater programs. Regular admission, members free.
Brew at the ZooThursday, June 20 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Join us for the grown-up party of the summer! Enjoy an evening of good food provided by Outback Steak House and Dave's Texas Pit Barbeque with dessert by The Patisserie, Michigan-made brews and wines, along with auction items and other activities. All proceeds benefit the Living Learning Lab. Tickets $50 per person and may purchased at the gate or in advance by calling (989) 759-1408
